These wooden loft beds usually use pine and look very nice in a kid's bedroom.
The great thing about pine is that it is a neutral design and so will fit
into almost any bedroom and it is also strong and so will last for a long time.
The design of the loft bed is also very useful as they have the bed higher
up and so out of the way. This has several advantages with the best being that
you have a nice space under the bed for whatever you choose, you can have some
shelves or storage and many loft beds also include a sofa or sofa bed under
the bed. The other great thing is that kids just love the 'top bunk' way of
sleeping with the ladder to get in bed and just being so high up while sleeping.
Regardless of the name, loft beds aren't always something to put in the attic.
They are maybe most typically found in student bedrooms and dorms - though
recollecting my school days, the comparison with an attic would possibly not
be too wide of the mark. A loft bed is pretty much like a bunk bed, however
the lower section is employed for purposes other than sleeping. It is a space
saving bed that makes best use of vertical space, making it a great furniture
choice for tiny rooms. Though they are typically thought of as single beds
for children or varsity scholars it is also feasible to buy them in bigger
sizes like queen or full. Some more sophisticated models include built in storage
units etc in diverse configurations. They are available in both wood and metal.
An alternative that is popular for student bedrooms is to use the lower space
to include a work desk for study. A built in PC workstation is commoner.
